Ihnken/WOMP's official statement regarding the Summer Solstice Projekt:

Our deepest apologies go out to all of our guests especially those who traveled hours to the Summer Solstice Projekt only to be turned away at the gate with little or no explanation. We did in fact have the proper permit to run from 8am Thursday to 5am Sunday with the ability to serve alcohol and no county official has any right to revoke that or to force all of you to leave a piece of private property. We have today (http://www.facebook.com/l/;07.01.09) notified Frederick County and the officials responsible for this decision that we are taking legal action for their prejudicial decision. We will be mailing replacement tickets out to all guests on our mailing list as an attempt to ratify some of your concerns. In our society there are real repercussions for real mistakes and these individuals will pay for this grievous injustice.
